By: Marketing
About six months ago, we shared a fantastic graphic from ENERGY Star about the purchasing power of ENEGRY Star certified products with homeowners. Here is a quick link for reference: There is no doubt that products that are ENERGY Star certified are more attractive buys. And, the ENERGY Star organization itself dedicates a section of its website to helping certified brands market the benefits around ENERGY Star certification. These tools are free and include simple things from using an ENERGY Star, to posting a banner on your website. You can download the material here – The LUX KONO Pro Edition, LUX GEO and LUX GEOx have all earned their ENERGY STAR certification. Smart thermostats are a category that ENERY STAR sees tremendous value when it comes to helping homeowners save energy. To achieve certification, ENERGY STAR products must be third-party certified based on testing in EPA-recognized laboratories. In addition to up-front testing, ENERGY STAR products are subject to “off–the–shelf” verification testing each year. The goal of this testing is to ensure that changes or variations in the manufacturing process do not undermine a product’s qualification with ENERGY STAR requirements. The program’s emphasis on testing, third–party review, and compliance screening bolsters its integrity and ensures that consumers can trust ENERGY STAR certified products, homes, and commercial facilities to deliver the energy savings promised by the label. Are you leveraging the ENERGY Star brand to upsell items on your truck?
